Privacy

The short version: the verses you draw are your business, not ours.

What stays in your browser

Your recent draws, your saved favourites, and your light or dark preference are kept in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us and never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. That records general information such as page addresses, approximate location, and device type. It does not record which individual verses you draw.

Email signup

If you sign up for the daily verse email, your address is stored by our email provider, Buttondown, so we can send it. Your IP address at signup is passed to Buttondown only so its spam filter can tell a real signup from a bot. We do not sell or rent your address. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Outbound links

Links to read a full chapter open Bible.com, which is operated by a different organisation under its own privacy policy.
